A Note from Ms. Proctor
Rest assured! Your child will be cared for, valued, and challenged in grade five. As a parent and grandparent, I know how very precious our children are to us. I also know that school is much more than a place where kids learn how to read, write, and count. It is also a place where they learn about themselves, others, and the world in which they live. It is a place where they form friendships, learn how to relate to others, and develop lifelong abilities to persevere and strive to be their best. I know that when you send your child to school each day, you are hoping the teacher understands how important that child is to you, and how important the teacher's role is in ensuring that your child's experience in school is both positive and productive. I am honored that you have placed your child in my hands. And, I am fully aware of the impact my relationship with your son or daughter has on their school experience. Welcome!
